Course delivery is 100% online with an in-person written exam. This is a fast-paced intensive course in which students will meet together during four scheduled virtual classroom sessions as well as a virtual practical evaluation. During the duration of this course students will be required to do extensive independent reading and complete independent work to create a comprehensive training program. Regular internet access is required to be able to complete this course. After completing the course the student will have met the sections for Fire Instructor II in the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1041, 2019 edition, professional qualifications standard.
