The Milford Fire Department is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Firefighter/EMT. This position is full-time, 42 hr/week nonexempt, daytime 12-hour shift work consisting of four days on four days off, with occasional evening hours. The role is subject to emergency callback. Compensation for this position is $20.80 to $25.31 /hr. depending on experience and qualifications, plus full Town benefits. This position is in a progressive department that responds to approximately 1400 calls for service annually. It entails skilled work that consists primarily of delivering emergency services to the residents of the community. Principally, these services are delivered in areas of fire suppression & protection, rescue, hazardous materials, and emergency medical services (non-transport). Qualifications for this position include: ·      High school diploma or equivalent ·      New Hampshire Firefighter II ·      Must meet all eligibility, including physical agility requirements, of the New Hampshire Fire Standards and Training Commission for a full-time firefighter.
