The Town of Milton is seeking to fill an opening for a Full-Time Firefighter/Advanced EMT (Paramedic preferred). The department is comprised of three full-time members, two part-time members, 15 per-diem members, and an on-call volunteer force. Milton Fire-Rescue is responsible for fire suppression, rescue, education and prevention, and emergency medical services as an ALS transport agency to the Town of Milton and mutual aid areas.  

Minimum qualifications: 

-National Registry / State of NH EMT (Advanced EMT required by end of first year probation)

-Proboard Firefighter II

-Current CPAT certificate or NH Administrative Rule 703.01 Lateral Transfer

Compensation: (starting step depending on qualifications and experience as determined by the Fire Chief)
-EMT $18.84 – $27.45 (AEMT req’d by 7/1/24)
-AEMT $19.91 – $29.01
-Paramedic $21.05 – $30.66
