Rye Fire Rescue is currently seeking kind, compassionate, and highly motivated individuals to join our per diem staff. The town of Rye is home to approximately 5,500 people, borders the Atlantic Ocean, and has over 8 miles of coastline. Our department responds to approximately 1,000 calls for service annually. We are an all-hazards department and provide fire suppression, emergency medical services at the Paramedic level, hazardous material operations, and ocean rescue.

Minimum Qualifications:

Pro-Board Firefighter 1 or equivalent.

National Registry EMT.

State of New Hampshire EMS Providers License

Valid CPR Card

Valid Driver’s License

Ability to pass a swim test.

Criminal and driving records review.
