The Town of Gilmanton Fire Department is currently accepting applications for 2 newly created positions for Firefighter/AEMT/Paramedic. 48-hour work week. Positions are both day and 24 hour rotation. The position responsibilities include but are not limited to; response to fire and medical emergencies, operating department apparatus, assist in fire and life safety Inspections, Inspection and maintenance of department equipment, and the maintenance of Fire Department buildings and grounds.
Minimum qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent, possession of a valid State of NH CDL-B (tank endorsement) driver’s license, Nationally Registered and State Licensed AEMT/Paramedic. State FFII CPAT certification. ( may consider EMT with experience and commitment to gain certification AEMT within 1 year of hire as a condition of employment). Entry level Starting pay 20.00 to 21.00 based on certification. Additional salary may be negotiated based on time of service and certification level.
