The Town of Windham, NH (population 14,500) is accepting applications to establish an eligibility list for the position of Full-time Fire Fighter/ AEMT (Paramedic highly desired). This position is anticipated to be filled in February 2022. This position is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement upon satisfactory completion of 1 year probationary period.
Minimum Qualifications for applicants: be 18 years of age, High School Graduate or equivalent, Current CPAT Certification, or eligible for lateral transfer under NH Administrative Rule, Fire 703.01, Firefighter II (New Hampshire certified or a letter of reciprocity), Nationally Registered Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, (Paramedic highly desired), valid driver’s license with CDL Endorsement (Tank & Airbrakes). New Hampshire State Retirement enrollment required. Successful applicants must pass an oral interview, extensive background investigation and medical exam.
