The Town of Windham, NH (population 16,500) is accepting applications for the position
of Full-time Fire Fighter/ AEMT (Paramedic highly desired). This position is covered by the
Collective Bargaining Agreement upon satisfactory completion of 1-year probationary period.

Minimum Qualifications for applicants be 18 years of age, High School Graduate or
equivalent, Current CPAT Certification, or eligible for lateral transfer under NH Administrative
Rule, Fire 703.01, Firefighter II (New Hampshire certified or a letter of reciprocity), Nationally
Registered Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, (Paramedic highly desired), valid
driver’s license with CDL Endorsement (Tank & Airbrakes). New Hampshire State Retirement
enrollment required. Successful applicants must pass an oral interview, extensive background
investigation and medical exam.
