Course Description

This course provides the foundational knowledge and skills required to serve as a Firefighter I/II Skills Evaluator. Participants will gain an understanding of the roles, responsibilities, expectations, and professional standards of a division skills evaluator, including the principles of objective candidate evaluation, standardized testing procedures, documentation requirements, and examination integrity. Successful completion of this course satisfies the initial training requirement to begin the Division’s Firefighter I/II Skills Evaluator endorsement process.
