Bullying in the Fire Service

This online course was developed from a New Hampshire Fire Academy & EMS podcast series titled Kitchen Table Conversations, which explored fire and EMS oriented leadership topics. New Hampton NH Fire Chief Scott Cathy and Durham, NH Fire Department Chief Dave Emanuel discuss several topics surrounding the topic of bullying in the fire service.

This lesson takes you through several discussions ranging from the definition of bullying, the characteristics of a bully, gossip, harassment, cyberbullying, and includes tactics for supervisors dealing with bullying in their department. This lesson also touches on the subject of suicide related to bullying.
