Child Passenger Safety for EMS

Prehospital patient care in an ambulance presents significant challenges. This online course presents best practices for EMS providers regarding the safe transport of pediatric patients and children. The course presents the current efforts to develop standards and focuses the learner on the State of New Hampshire Pre-Hospital Patient Care Protocols and how it specifically handles pediatric transport.

Additionally, this course provides instructional support for services who have deployed the KangooFix pediatric safety restraint that was made available via grant funding.
