I have a certification that is accredited by The Pro Board, IFSAC, or the Department of Defense (DoD) with an accreditation seal clearly visible.
The NH Fire Academy will grant direct equivalency for these certifications. You WILL NOT receive a certificate from the Division. You will have your training certificate recorded on your RespondNH student transcript database.
There is NO FEE for equivalency.
I have a certification that is IS NOT accredited by a nationally or internationally recognized accreditation organization, and would like to have my training records evaluated for reciprocity.

Individuals who have completed fire service certifications outside of the State of New Hampshire which do not meet the requirements for equivalency can request a reciprocity evaluation. This evaluation will compare the training received out-of-state to the approved curriculum within the State of New Hampshire.

If reciprocity is granted, you will be eligible to take the written and/or practical exams for the certification. If your training program does not meet the requirements for reciprocity, you will need to either seek a Pro Board, IFSAC, or DoD certification or take the associated course through the Division.
