This course will prepare students to function successfully as Advanced EMTs in urban, suburban, or rural settings. Students will develop superior skills in patient assessment, vascular access and pharmacology, and team leadership. This course will take place in person in Durham, NH on the UNH campus. Class meets M/Tu/W evenings 6:30pm-10pm. Clinical placements will be with local ambulance agencies and hospital EDs; these are scheduled outside of class hours.
