Course Description

Questions pertaining to this course can be directed to Captain Paul Ingersoll at paul.h.ingersoll@dos.nh.gov.  Classroom sessions are from 18:00-22:00 on 10/7, 10/14 and 10/16.  Driving on one of two days from 08:00-16:00 on 10/18 or 10/19.  Testing tentatively scheduled for 10/21 at 18:00.

The Driver/Operator – All Vehicle with TIMS class is designed to provide students, both EMS providers and firefighters, with the basic knowledge and skills required to safely drive emergency vehicles. A combination of classroom and hands-on skills drills cover basic vehicle terminology, design and construction, basic driving skills, emergency driving considerations and skills, readiness checks, and maintenance. Additionally, the class includes the National Traffic Incident Management Responder Training Program.
