About The Course: The fundamental certification for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel, the Emergency Medical Technician course teaches students to assess and treat persons suffering from traumatic injuries or medical illnesses. This course is designed to be a traditional in-person educational experience. This course prepares students to be entry-level EMS providers and pass the State and National Certification Exams. Course Cost: $2,000.00 which includes: Healthcare Provider CPR Certification, Textbooks, Workbook, Blood Pressure Cuff and Stethoscope, Student Insurance, Pocket Mask, Pen Light, Trauma Shears, NH Bureau of EMS Scope of Practice Modules, and AHA BLS for the Healthcare Provider Certification, & All Course Materials. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to register. Course Dates & Location January 13, 2026 through May 26, 2026. Tuesday & Thursday Evenings 6PM to 10PM with one Sunday (05/10/2026) from 8AM to 5PM. There are no classes scheduled on NH school vacation weeks (02/24/2026, 02/26/2026, 04/28/2026, 04/30/2026). Classes held at Granite State EMS, located at 200 North State Street, Concord, NH.
Prerequisites (due 30 days after course start) Criminal Record free of serious convictions (proof required). Proof of current healthcare insurance or employer’s statement of workers compensation coverage during class. Proof of the following vaccinations or immunity; Hepatitis B, TB/PPD (two 2-step tests within 6 months or QuantiFERON test), Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR), Varicella (verification of disease history or immunization), Influenza (Seasonal) Vaccine (Flu Shot), Pertussis (Whooping Cough).
