This course provides the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to provide emergency medical care and transportation to patients in pre-hospital settings. The course covers patient assessment, basic life support (including CPR and AED use), airway management, medical and trauma emergencies, and EMS operations. Students will also learn about legal and ethical issues, communication, and patient handling. The course tuition includes access to the online learning management system, in person lab hours, online text book, student supplies, and final practical exam.
