This program is the second level of standards-based certification available to firefighters, following the training provided in Firefighter I. Course materials cover additional topics and prepare the firefighter to participate in certification testing for Firefighter II certification based on NFPA 1001, 2019 Edition, and Pro Board Certified standards.

The classroom portion of the program will take place at the Hampton Fire Department, while practical skills sessions will be conducted at the Concord Campus of the New Hampshire Fire Academy.
