The IAFF Fire Ground Survival (FGS) program is a comprehensive training initiative designed to reduce firefighter fatalities by teaching Mayday prevention and survival techniques. It covers self-survival skills, air management, radio communications, and navigating entanglement or structural hazards, suitable for all experience levels.

Enrolled students will be expected to take the IAFF Fire Ground Survival Awareness online training and bring proof of completion with them on the first day of class.
