This 2-day course is part of the State Weekend Program at the National Fire Academy (NFA) and provides an introduction to the knowledge, skills and abilities required to navigate current emergency medical services (EMS) management issues and the challenges in moving from EMS provider to EMS supervisor. Course is designed for First-line supervisors who are responsible for field or station supervision of EMS response personnel. These supervisors are responsible for ensuring the daily operational schedules, assignments, personnel and resources.

Communication.
Information and technology.
Talent management.
Health and safety.
