The objective of this 2-day on-campus State Weekend Program at the National Fire Academy (NFA) is to provide fire service authority figures with knowledge and skills that enable them to exercise leadership when confronting adaptive challenges presented by increasingly diverse internal and external communities. The goal of the course is for participants to use the diversity of ideas, peoples and cultures as resources in exercising leadership to address adaptive challenges in their communities.
Food and transportation are the responsibility of the student. If you stay on the NFA campus, you must purchase a meal ticket from them. Please review the State Weekend Program Welcome Package on the NFA site for more information.
Prerequisite: ICS 100 and 200.
