Ambulance 1
2017 Ford F450 PL Custom Emergency Vehicles body. The ambulance cab and patient compartment are set up in a standard ambulance configuration with diagnostic and patient handling equipment used for simulation training.
Engine 1
1996 International chassis 4900 series with a KME body. Engine 1 carries 1,000 gallons of water and features a 1,250 GPM pump. It also has a class-A foam system. It is also used for general fireground operations training for Firefighter I and Firefighter II classes. Engine 1 is also used for driver/operator training.
Engine 2
2016 Ford F550 chassis HME mini-pumper. The apparatus features a 1,500 GPM pump and can carry four hundred gallons of water. Engine 2 also has a class-A foam system. On board is an assortment hoses including a 4 inch large diameter hose and an assortment in ¾ and 2.5 inch hand lines. Engine 2 is used during flashover training, during aircraft rescue firefighting (ARFF) classes and for liquid propane prop training.
Engine 3
2017 HME W Cab. Four person cab. Engine 3 carries 750 gallons of water, a 1,500 GPM pump, a class- A foam system and an assortment of hand lines. This apparatus is used for rolling drills, hand line deployment, hose and stream class and general fireground operations for the hands-on portion of the academy’s Firefighter I and Firefighter II classes. Engine 3 is also used for driver/operator training.
Ladder 1
1996 KME 100 foot Ultra HD ladder. The ladder truck features a 1,000 pound tip-load ladder. Categorized as a quint, the truck also carries 300 gallons of water and a 2,000 GPM two-stage pump. The truck is used for ladders class or rolling drills in the academy’s fireground scenarios.
Rescue 1
1996 International 4900 series chassis with a KME body. This apparatus carries an assortment of power and hand rescue tools and equipment for extrication and lifting and jacking. This rescue truck also has a Scott cascade system to refill self-contained breathing apparatus bottles. The rescue truck is also used for driver/operator training.
