Course Description

This course is the first level of standards-based certification available to firefighters. Course materials provide information on topics which allow the firefighter to participate in certification testing to obtain Firefighter I certification based on National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standard 1001, 2019 edition, Pro Board® Certified.
