Naloxone for First Responders

This online course will assist you in understanding how opioids work, how to recognize a person in severe respiratory depression due to an opioid overdose, the proper procedure for handling a potential opioid overdose, and how to store and administer Naloxone. Within the course are scenarios for the user to test what they have learned about patient care and Naloxone administration. Included is information about properly documenting the overdose and treatment.
