Central NH Hazmat was recently selected as one of 15 sites nationwide that will receive free training under the new Partners in Training (PIT) Crew program from the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) and U.S. Department of Transportation Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA). The program aims to help first responders gain the knowledge and skills they need to train others in their communities on hazmat safety and response.
This opportunity is open to anyone interested in teaching others about hazmat response. No instructional experience necessary! Courses will be rotated; attendees will have the opportunity to attend all three courses over the two days:
•Teaching Hazmat Basics (7 hours)
•Instructor Training for Flammable Liquids (3 hours)
•Instructor Training for Ammonia (3 hours)
The training will take place at 25 Triangle Park Drive Concord NH on July 12 and 13, 2024 Lunch and coffee included both days.
