Course Description

This course will have 1 in person session. The class will be split in half for this, and those dates will be May 7th and May 8th. You only will attend one of those days.

This course is based on NFPA 1021: Standard for Fire Officer Processional Qualifications (Chapter 5). Upon successful completion ProBoard certification of Fire Officer II will be awarded. The course is designed for the Fire Officer who is ready to assume more of a leadership role by moving into the middle management level of his/her department. This course expands on the knowledge base attained in Fire Officer I by revisiting some of the same subjects and adding additional material including; management, government structure, and departmental budget planning and management.
