Looking to get involved with your community? Looking to get an education in the Fire Service? Want to have tuition assistance to become a certified Firefighter/EMT in the State of New Hampshire? The Allenstown Fire Department is looking to add dedicated members to their “On Call” and Per-Diem staff to help protect our community.
The Allenstown Fire Department responds to a variety of emergency situations within our community daily and provides support to our neighbors as a member of the Capital Area Mutual Aid System. We offer a flexible schedule, as members can be on call or bid for shifts based on their availability.
The position responsibilities include but are not limited to; response to fire and medical emergencies, operating department apparatus, inspecting and maintaining department equipment, and the maintenance of fire department facilities.

Compensation will vary depending on certifications, education, and experience.
This can range from individuals that are non-certified, to fully certified in both Firefighting and EMS.
Wage Scale;
$18.66 – $30.23
Minimum Requirements:
• 18 years of age
• High School Diploma (or GED)
• Valid NH Driver’s License
• Highly self-motivated individuals that can show a commitment to the town, our residents, and the department.
Additional Considerations will be given to applicants with:
• Pro-Board Firefighter I
• Pro-Board Firefighter II
• NH Licensed EMT Provider
• Valid NH CDL Driver’s License
