A refresher on New England and New Hampshire biting and stinging insects, insect-borne illnesses, reptiles, and rabid animal bites. We will discuss snakes, snake bites, animal bites, and rabies as well as bed bugs and venomous spiders. Data will be presented with a discussion around Lyme disease and Triple E and well as biting animals and reptiles. We will review signs and symptoms of venomous bites and poisonings. We will cringe at cockroaches and learn more about ladybugs. Finally, we will talk about common bee stings and allergies with a review of the State of New Hampshire Patient Care Protocols in treating these potentially life-threatening incidents.
Registration is only permitted within the defined registration window. Prerequisites must be met at the time of registration. Courses where pricing is listed as "grant funded" covers course tuition only. Overtime/backfill eligible courses will be specifically noted.
