This course consists of four 3-hour instructor led virtual classes (0900-1200) and one 8 hour in-person class (0800-1630). The in-person class will be in Concord on either November 3rd or November 4th.

This course is based on NFPA 1021: Standard for Fire Officer Processional Qualifications (Chapter 5). Upon successful completion ProBoard certification of Fire Officer II will be awarded. The course is designed for the Fire Officer who is ready to assume more of a leadership role by moving into the middle management level of his/her department. This course expands on the knowledge base attained in Fire Officer I by revisiting some of the same subjects and adding additional material including; management, government structure, and departmental budget planning and management. This course is virtual with the exception of testing.
