Description
| There are 4, Instructor led, virtual sessions from 0900-1200 and one in-person day to be held in Concord on November 16th or 17th. The class will be divided into two groups and you will assigned one of the two in-person, simulation, days on either November 16th or November 17th. You do not need to attend both days.
Date of Testing: 11/30/23 Class Times: 10/12, 10/19, 10/26, 11/2 – 3 hour virtual classroom 11/9 – Off Day 11/16-17 – In-Person Simulation day, classroom 1-2, 8 hours. Students will only have to attend one of the days. They will receive their day when the class starts. |
From the Course Catalog
This course is based on NFPA 1021: Standard for Fire Officer Processional Qualifications (Chapter 5). Upon successful completion ProBoard certification of Fire Officer II will be awarded. The course is designed for the Fire Officer who is ready to assume more of a leadership role by moving into the middle management level of his/her department. This course expands on the knowledge base attained in Fire Officer I by revisiting some of the same subjects and adding additional material including; management, government structure, and departmental budget planning and management. This course is virtual with the exception of testing.

Registration is only permitted within the defined registration window. Prerequisites must be met at the time of registration. Applicants will be notified within two business days with the status of their applications. Courses where pricing is listed as "grant funded" covers course tuition only. Overtime/backfill eligible courses will be specifically noted.
