The Town of Greenland Fire Department is seeking qualified candidates to fill full time positions.  These individuals will perform responsible firefighting operations, emergency medical care, and other related duties that apply.

Minimum qualifications for applicants are as follows:

o   18 years of age

o   High School diploma or GED

o   State of NH eligibility exam and CPAT certification, or lateral transfer of full-time career personnel pursuant to State of NH Admin Rule 703.01

o   Certification as a Pro-Board Firefighter II and Nationally Registered EMT, (preference given to Advanced EMT or Paramedic.

o   Possession of a valid operator’s license (CDL-B with tank endorsement preferred)

o   Pass a criminal and driving background check

o   Pass an NFPA 1582 pre-employment physical.

Full-time employees work a 1/1/1/5 schedule and receive a generous benefits package.

A transcript from the NHFA or similar educational institution will be accepted as proof of certifications.
