Description
Cost: Affiliated $180, Non-Affiliated $2,600 Classes are Tuesday evening 1800-2200 and every other weekend 0800-1700. Graduation will be held on Tuesday, 10/29. Weekends are as follows:
- 9/14 & 9/15
- 9/28 & 9/29
- 10/5 & 10/6
- 10/19 & 10/20

This course is the second level of standard-based certification available to firefighters. Course materials provide information on topics included in the Firefighter I program, and allow the firefighter to participate in certification testing to obtain Firefighter II certification based on NFPA 1001, 2019 edition ProBoard Certified

- Foam Fire Streams
- Flammable Liquids
- Vehicle Rescue
- Fire Cause
- Firefighter Safety Skills
- Surveys, Fire Prevention & Public Education
- Fire Detection, Protection & Suppression
- Fire Suppression II
- Communications
- Pre-plan Inspection
- Assist Rescue Teams

Prerequisites
Prerequisites must be met at the time of registration.
- ICS 100
- ICS200
- Student Medical Release
- Firefighter I
- IS700
- Current BLS CPR for Health Care Providers (must remain current through testing)

Registration is only permitted within the defined registration window. Prerequisites must be met at the time of registration. Courses where pricing is listed as "grant funded" covers course tuition only. Overtime/backfill eligible courses will be specifically noted.
