EMS in the Warm Zone (Awareness)

The Awareness level course is a three (3) hour online program that will provide foundational knowledge on EMS and fire personnel taking an active role in warm zone operations. Primary focus will be on the introduction of using the Rescue Task Force (RTF) concept and integration into a truly unified response between EMS, fire, and law enforcement. The term RTF is used to describe teams compromised of EMS/fire personnel and law enforcement who deploy to treat, stabilize, and rapidly remove casualties during an active threat event. The Awareness level program is the first of three courses in the EMS in the Warm Zone series.
