The Town of Brentwood, NH is accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Firefighter/EMT. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team. This position is responsible to provide fire suppression, prevention and emergency medical services to the Town of Brentwood.
Minimum Qualifications Include:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· National Registry EMT, AEMT or Paramedic Certification (AEMT, Paramedic preferred)
· Pro-Board Firefighter II Certification
· Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).
· Applicants must meet State of New Hampshire Administrative Rule 701 for Firefighter Entrance Requirements. Successful completion of CPAT as well as being a candidate on the NH Statewide Firefighter Eligibility List or lateral transfer of a full-time career personnel pursuant to Administrative Rule 703.01 will be accepted.
The Candidate must successfully pass a 12-month Probationary period. If candidate does not already have a CDL-B driver’s license (with air brakes and tank endorsement), it must be obtained prior to completion of the Probationary period.
Candidates who receive a conditional offer of employment will be required to pass a physical exam, drug screen, motor vehicle record check and criminal background check.
The Town of Brentwood offers a generous benefits package, including medical, dental, life, and disability insurances, 11 paid holidays and earned time accrual. The starting pay range is $42,151.20 – $47,611.20 annualized.
