The Brentwood Fire Department is accepting applications and resumes for a Per diem Firefighter / EMT, AEMT or Paramedic
Brentwood, NH is a rural community, covering 17 square miles with multiple light commercial / industrial zoned areas with a population of approximately 5000 and growing. We are also home to the Rockingham County facilities and closely located to the New England Dragway.
The Brentwood Fire Department is a combination department, currently with 4 full-time firefighters working 24 hour shifts. During the day they are joined with per-diem firefighters working 12 hour shifts and at night with our call members. M-F, the department has the Chief and an EMT/Admin., as well as our Paramedic EMS Captain 3 days per week. We respond to about 1,000 calls a year and are growing.
The Per diem Firefighter/EMT position is responsible for providing fire suppression, prevention and emergency medical services to the Town of Brentwood.
Minimum Qualifications at Time of Hire Include:
· FF-I
· EMT
Preferred Qualifications include:
· FF II
· AEMT or Paramedic
· CDL-B with Tank and air brake endorsements
Selected candidates must pass an oral board interview, motor vehicle and criminal background records check and a doctor physical.
