The Town of Epping Fire Department is seeking internal candidates to fill an open Full Time Firefighter/EMT position. Advanced EMT, Paramedic, or Paramedic Student preferred. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who will demonstrate their commitment to our town, perform responsible firefighting operations, emergency medical care, and other related duties as required.

Minimum qualifications for applicants are as follows:

18 years of age
High School diploma or GED
State of NH current CPAT certification.
Certification as a Pro-Board Firefighter I (Firefighter II preferred or must be obtained within one year of hire.)
Nationally Registered EMT.
Possession of a valid driver’s license issued by the State of NH
Pass criminal and driving background checks

Lateral transfers of full-time career personnel pursuant to State of NH Admin Rule 703.01 are encouraged to apply.

Additional consideration given to applicants with:

o   Paramedic Certification or currently participating in a Paramedic Class.

o   Advanced EMT Certification or currently participating in an AEMT class.

o   New Hampshire CDL with tank and air brakes endorsement.
