Are you a per diem firefighter looking to work for a full-time department while still giving back to the community you live in? The Exeter Fire Department is accepting applications & resumes for immediate openings for full-time Firefighter Paramedic/AEMT/EMT positions.
The Exeter Fire Department is a full time department with 33 career personnel. The department responds to over 3,700 total calls annually, provides an ALS ambulance service, and boasts new and modern equipment with a fleet of apparatus that includes 4 engines, aerial ladder, 2 ALS ambulances, a boat and numerous staff vehicles.
*144 hours of holiday pay prorated for your first year ($3,791 for paramedics, $3,447 for AEMTs)
certification incentives of up to $1,750, Overtime, State of NH Group II Retirement, Generous Benefit Package *Salaries based on July 1, 2024*
High School Diploma or equivalent
Pro Board or IFSAC Firefighter II
Nationally registered as an Emergency Medical Technician (Paramedic preferred)
Current Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) or lateral transfer as required by the State of New
Hampshire Division of Fire Standards & Training, Administrative Rules “Part 702”
Must be able to pass a criminal record and driving background investigation
Successful completion of an NFPA 1582 pre-employment physical
