The Town of Loudon New Hampshire, Fire Department is accepting applications & resumes for an  opening beginning July 1, 2024 for a full – time Firefighter / Paramedic / AEMT / EMT

Salary Range : Firefighter $20.00 – $22.00 per hour with additional Overtime, & Detail pay available along with State of NH Retirement & a Generous Benefit Package.

2 weeks paid vacation / 12 paid holidays / 5 paid sick days can accrue up to 720

Four (12) hour shifts Monday through Thursday 6 am – 6 pm

The Town of Loudon is located in Merrimack County NH and has a population of 5616 residents located on 47.5 square miles of land. The Town of Loudon is primarily a residential community with a large agricultural base and is also host to New England’s largest sporting venue New Hampshire Motor Speedway which boasts nationally televised sporting events as well as a large accompaniment of various large events throughout the year. The Fire Department operates out of two stations and has a modern complement of ambulances and fire rescue equipment. The fire department is staffed with a full – time Chief, Deputy Chief, Administrative Assistant, (4) Career Firefighters and a 33 person roster of per-diem and call firefighters & emt’s. The fire department responds to an average of 1000 emergency calls per year and transports primarily to Concord Hospital, a level II trauma center.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Pro Board Firefighter II or nationally recognized equivalent

NREMT Certified Advanced EMT or Paramedic with NH Provider License

NH CDL-B Drivers License within 6 months of employment

Must have current CPAT as required by the State of NH Division of FS&T Administrative Rule “part 702”

Must pass Federal Criminal Background Check & NH Driving Record Check

Must be able to pass NFPA 1582 pre-employment physical
