The Town of Nottingham is accepting Resumes and Cover Letters for multiple immediate openings for the position of Full-Time & Per Diem Firefighter/EMT. 12 hour and 24 hour shifts available. The position responsibilities include but are not limited to; response to fire and medical emergencies, operating department apparatus, assist in fire and life safety Inspections, Inspection and maintenance of department equipment, and the maintenance of Fire Department buildings and grounds.
All Candidates should have minimum qualifications of:
Certified Firefighter Level I
Nationally Registered EMT with ability to obtain NH Providers License
High school diploma (or equivalent)
Full-Time Candidates must have minimum qualifications of:
Current CPAT, as required by NH Administrative Rule Part 702
Must attain Firefighter Level II within 1 year of employment
Ability to pass NFPA 1582 Medical Evaluation
Preferred qualifications Include:
Certified Firefighter Level II
Fire Science or Emergency Management Degree
Lateral Transfers Encouraged!
