FF/AEMT starting base pay from $22.35 to $24.67

FF/ Paramedic starting base pay from $25.92 to $28.61

Requirements

AEMT or Paramedic preferred. EMT’s encouraged to apply; attainment of AEMT certification within 12 months required. Current CPAT or lateral transfer pursuant to New Hampshire Administrative Rule, Chapter Fire 703.01; Firefighter II certified; Valid driver’s license, high school graduate or GED. Successful applicants must then pass an interview process, medical exam, and extensive background investigation.

About Us

We are a progressive department with excellent taxpayer support, equipment, and training. Our members have attended the Maryland Fire Academy, the National Fire Academy, FDIC, IAFC seminars, NFPA meetings and countless seminars. All EMS refreshers are conducted in-house by an outside vendor, and off-duty members are paid overtime to attend.

Our smaller department means you get to know everyone well and are included in all aspects of the organization. We have paramedics at every rank, from new firefighter to Fire Chief. Our two-tiered ALS system gives paramedics the flexibility to treat patients when needed or stay available when not needed.
