Opening for ONE Full Time Firefighter/EMS Providers

The Sanbornton Fire & Rescue is accepting applications to fill an open positions of full time Firefighter/EMS Provider (AEMT or Paramedic preferred).

Sanbornton Fire & Rescue is a combination department made up of a full time Chief, a part time Deputy Chief/EMS Coordinator, 1 full time Lieutenant/EMS provider, 3 full time Firefighter/EMS providers, 1 part time administrative assistant, 15 On-Call Firefighters and EMS providers and 7 Per Diem Firefighter/EMS providers.

The full time Lieutenant and the 3 Firefighter/EMS Provider work rotating 24 hour shifts with generous holiday pay incentives and an opportunity for overtime.

Minimum requirements:

·        18 years of age

·        High School diploma (or GED)

·        NH Licensed provider at the EMT level (AEMT within one year of appointment)

·        Valid NH driver’s license

·        Pro-Board Firefighter II or equivalent (or the ability to obtain within one year of appointment)

·        Current CPAT certificate or lateral transfers of full-time career personnel pursuant to State of NH          Administrative Rule 703.01

·        Highly motivated individuals that can show a commitment to the town, our residents and the       department.

Additional consideration will be given to applicants with:

·        Paramedic certification
