Upper Valley Ambulance, Inc. Fairlee Vermont

Upper Valley Ambulance Inc., a 501(c)(3) corporation, seeks an Executive Director to lead a dedicated team to deliver high quality Emergency Medical Services to the Upper Valley region. Based in Fairlee Vermont, UVA has been providing EMS to nine surrounding towns in Vermont and New Hampshire since 1990. With a staff of thirteen full-time about twenty-five part-time personnel, it serves a population of approximately 12,400 over a 350 square mile geographic area.

 

The Executive Director supervises all administrative and field staff of the organization, reporting directly to the board of directors. This position will work with the Board of Directors and other personnel designated by the board on reporting, planning, and budgeting of the organization. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with proven organizational, financial, training, and human relations skills. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree; a combination of experience and college education may be considered. Relevant field experience, with supervisory and administrative skills demonstrated in a similar position preferred. Must be a current NREMT. Paramedic certification is preferred and must obtain New Hampshire and Vermont licensure within three months of employment. Strong written and oral skills required.
