This course will be held in-person on Wednesday and Friday evenings from 6 to 10pm at the North Country Training Facility in Bethlehem, NH. The first week will be an orientation on Wednesday only. The last week will be on Saturday, November 18th, all day. Access to the internet is required for the completion of online assignments. This is a early-career level course with a moderate workload outside of class time. Students are expected to perform at or above the standards set forth in NFPA 1041 Chapter 4. This blended learning course is held in-person at the NH Fire Academy & EMS located in Concord, NH on Thursdays from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Online assignments include case studies, online quizzes, and the submission of a final writing assignment. The first class session on Thursday, January, 11th will be a half-day orientation session starting at 1 pm. The last day on Thursday, February 15th will be the written certification exam and final presentations. You will be giving multiple presentations of increasing length based on prepared lesson plans.
