How to Stand Out in an Oral Board-Helping Candidates Succeed

May 23 @ 09:00 - 12:00
Concord
Description

This class is for Candidates who want to learn how to stand out during an oral board interview. Instructors of this class will be a team of Fire Department leaders and experts who will teach students what New Hampshire’s departments are looking for and how they can make a lasting impression to get hired.

Students are asked to come dressed and conduct themselves professionally as if they were in an actual interview. They are also asked to bring copies of their resumes and be prepared for honest feedback. This is a great opportunity to make connections while learning how to improve their job interviewing skills.

This class is open to anyone hoping to get hired at their first department or those who are looking for pointers to help prepare for a promotional interview.

For additional questions related to this course, please contact Kimberly McCulloch at kimberly.m.mcculloch@dos.nh.gov.
