The FireMed AEMT course will bring real world knowledge with a solid foundation in pathophysiology and leadership. The course has been adjusted to offer more clinical time to include rotations at a pediatric ICU. This program is in person with professional instruction from leaders in the field of EMS. The environment is enjoyable with limited power point. This course will prepare you for the field and offer you the ability to be a clinician with the goal to provide elite patient care. The AEMT course has an easy to follow syllabus and we stick to our schedule. We are student focused, we challenge our students while always supporting them. This in person class offers the student a combined 84 hours of hands on skill sessions and clinical time. FireMed has clinical affiliations with departments and hospitals throughout the state of New Hampshire. This Advanced EMT course is designed to teach leadership and decision making skills while following the national scope of practice model. All FireMed courses include a psychomotor competency portfolio skill assessment. We do not use canned descriptions or course curriculums.
